What Is The Difference Between a Lawn Care Service and Lawn Maintenance Service?

Your lawn is an extension of your home, and should be well cared for. Regular lawn care and lawn maintenance adds both form and function to the exterior of your home.

Your lawn is an extension of your home, and should be well cared for. Regular lawn care and lawn maintenance adds both form and function to the exterior of your home.

If you're reading this blog, and you're a homeowner, you likely consider your lawn and landscape to be an extension of your home. It complements the elevation and design of the exterior of your home, and a well-maintained lawn provides function, in addition, to form - a place to congregate, entertain, relax and have fun.

At Hackman Lawn, we provide both lawn care services and lawn maintenance services to care for this all-important aspect of your home.

What are Lawn Maintenance Services?

Our lawn maintenance services ensure that your lawn and outdoor area are kept clean and well-manicured year-round. We prepare your lawn for spring by clearing winter debris, mow lawns during spring and summer growing seasoning, and we clean up your yard before winter, in preparation for our harsh St. Louis winters. A regular lawn maintenance package for your St. Louis/St. Charles-area home would include:

  • Weekly lawn mowing

  • Regular watering and weeding

  • Border edging for driveways, walkways and patio areas

  • Cleaning of driveways, walkways and patio areas

  • Spring yard and garden bed cleanup to remove winter debris

  • Fall yard cleanup to remove leaves and prepare for winter

What are Lawn Care Services?

Our regular proactive lawn care services take your lawn to the next level through:

These services help to ensure that your lawn is strong, gorgeous, and green by improving soil water uptake, to reduce soil compaction, and to make your lawn more resilient to drought and excessive St. Louis heat.

While some homeowners prefer to take on these seasonal lawn care tasks, others find it hard to fit them in with their day-to-day schedule. Consider letting our team take this to-do off your list.

At Hackmann Lawn, we provide consistent quality lawn care, lawn maintenance, and landscaping services throughout the year. Additionally, we offer snow plowing services during the winter months. Contact Hackmann Lawn today about the benefits of lawn care and maintenance services for your home.
